A wax dauber is a tool that can be used to apply hot wax over drilled holes in a log.
After you drill a hole into the log using a drill bit and insert the dowel plug or sawdust into the log, use the wax dauber to apply milted wax over the hole.
This ensures the mycelium is shielded from outside environments, allowing it to grow unhindered.
