These containers are perfect for plant tissue cultures and can be autoclaved. They do not come sterilized.
The unit GE/day refers to Gas Exchanges per day, indicating how many times the gas inside a vessel is completely replaced in a 24-hour period.
It signifies that the gas inside the vessel is replaced 81.35GE/Day times per day.
This is a rate of gas exchange, meaning the vessel undergoes little more than 80 complete air turnovers per day.
Important notes:
- keep the filter zones free of labels or any other objects.If using the green filter, it does a lot of gas exchange per dday, you can lower it down by coverin majority or part of teh filter. FOr example covering the green filter half way shoul dget you r Gas Exchange from 80 to 40. More exchnage means your media could dry faster. Depending on your microclimate and hgow long you intend to keep the plants and how much you rplants need airflow, you can play around with any of our filter type.
- avoid wetting filters; air dry filters when wet
- before re-using the lids, clean them with a damp cloth (do not soak) and let dry completely

Each mycrobox dimension is L X W X H – 7 X 7 x 11.
Please let us know the quantity if you are looking for sterile tubs. The sterile cups cannot be stacked and would occupy a lot of space in a carton, so shipping would be expensive.
