How To Use Indole-3-Acetic Acid (IAA) Powder
Follow the given steps to prepare 1L tissue culture media using PCTโs IAA Powder:
- Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCTโs MS, DKW, or other alternative media.
- Add sugar based on the quantity of media youโre making (generally, 30 grams of sugar is added for 1-litre media), 1 ml/L PPM, and 3-4 grams per litre of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per litre of agar.
- Then, add the desired quantity of the plant hormone from the prepared PGRโs stock solution.
- Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121โ.
