Benzylaminopurine (BAP) solution is a plant growth regulator commonly used in plant tissue culture applications to promote cell division and shoot proliferation.

How To Use Benzylaminopurine (BAP) Solution
Follow the given steps to prepare the tissue culture media using PCTโs BAP solution:
- Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCTโs MS, DKW media, or any other media based on your plant.
- Add sugar based on the quantity of media youโre making (generally, 30 grams of sugar is added for 1-litre media), 1 ml/L PPM, and 3-4 grams per litre of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per litre of agar.
- Then, add the desired quantity of the plant hormone.
- Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121โ.
