Gibberellic Acid (GA3) Solution is a powerful plant growth regulator that supports healthy development in tissue culture by stimulating growth processes such as germination, elongation, and fruit formation.

Key Benefits of the GA3 Solution

  • Breaks seed dormancy and encourages germination

  • Stimulates stem elongation through enhanced cell expansion

  • Promotes cell division and supports fruit growth

  • Helps release buds from dormancy for continued plant development

How to Use the GA3 Solution

Follow these steps to prepare your tissue culture media with PCT’s GA3 solution:

  1. Prepare your liquid tissue culture media using PCT’s MS, DKW, or another suitable medium based on your plant species.

  2. Add sugar depending on the volume (typically 30 grams per litre), 1 ml/L of PPM, and either 3–4 g/L of gellan gum or 6–8 g/L of agar.

  3. Add the required amount of GA3 solution.

  4. Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 121°C and 15 psi.

  5. Your media is now ready for use!

We offer both GA3 powder and solution forms of our plant growth regulators to meet different needs:

Powder Form: This is the raw, solid form of the product. It offers a longer shelf life, is cost-effective, and is ideal for customers who prefer to prepare solutions at desired concentrations.

Solution Form: This is a ready-to-use or ready-to-dilute liquid product version. It provides convenience and ensures consistent concentration, saving preparation time. However, it generally has a shorter shelf life and should be stored properly to maintain effectiveness.

Both forms contain the same active ingredient—the choice depends on your application preferences, storage capabilities, and handling needs. We’re happy to assist if you have any questions about usage or preparation.

All Products are shipped from Marrickville, Sydney. We do not dropship or hire 3rd party companies to ship our products.
