About This Kit
1 kg
Our 1 kg kits are premade and ready to go. No waiting, no lead time. If you just don’t want to wait around, this is the one. No fancy box, no unnecessary packaging — just a fresh, ready-to-fruit bag.
3 kg
Our 3 kg kits are made fresh to order. We prepare your bag, wait for it to reach 60–70% colonisation, then send it straight to you. No fancy box, no endless sitting in cold storage.
Lead time applies to 3 kg kits only. The lead time shown above the “Add to Cart” button is the time needed to prepare your order. A product showing as “in stock” means it can be prepared within that lead time, not that it is ready to ship immediately. 1 kg kits ship within our standard handling time when in stock.

Our bags: We use Unicorn grow bags, made in the USA. Unicorn is the only grow bag in the world independently tested by Eurofins (a third party lab in Europe) and certified to EN 1186 and USFDA 1520 standards for plastic migration into substrate. Tested at 121°C for 3.5 hours. No other PP or PE bag manufacturer has achieved this food safety standard.
About Snow White Oyster Mushrooms
Snow White Oysters are celebrated for their pristine white caps, mild and slightly sweet flavour, and firm texture. They produce large, elegant clusters and are perfect for beginners. The name says it all — these mushrooms are completely white and look absolutely beautiful when they start pinning.
They flourish in cooler, consistent conditions, making them ideal for growing through the cooler months when other varieties like Pink Oyster are out of season.
Shelf life: Once fully colonised, the block can be stored in the fridge for up to one month if you are not ready to fruit it straight away. Do not refrigerate until the bag is fully colonised (completely white).
Growing Conditions
Humidity: Above 85%. Mist 2–3 times daily.
Light: Indirect ambient light to support healthy cap development.
Air: Good fresh air exchange to prevent CO₂ buildup.
Temperature: 12°C–22°C. Going above 22°C can slow growth and discolour caps.
More Than One Harvest?
Yes. Expect 2–3 flushes. After each harvest, remove all remaining fruit bodies, allow the block to rest 3–4 days, then soak in cold water for 2–3 hours before resuming misting.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Temperature: Going above 22°C can slow growth and discolour caps.
Humidity: Insufficient misting leads to dry, split caps.
Fresh air exchange: CO₂ buildup causes long, stringy stems and small caps. Ensure gentle airflow.
Light: Direct sunlight can dry the block and disrupt pinning. Keep it indirect.
💡 Tip: Keep the environment cool, humid, and well ventilated to get those beautiful snow-white clusters.
What if pins form inside the bag?
Don’t worry. Ignore the internal pins. Gently fold the top of the bag to push out excess air, cut a small X in the side of the bag where you want the mushrooms to grow, and begin misting that spot daily. The internal pins will be naturally aborted as they don’t have space to grow.
All mushrooms produce spores as part of their natural growth cycle. Some people may be sensitive or allergic to spores, so be mindful of where you grow them. Harvesting earlier — as the caps begin to flatten — will help you avoid heavy sporulation.

This kit introduces you to Stage 3: Fruiting — the final step in mushroom growing. To explore all three stages (from spores to harvest), check out our Educational Mushroom Growing Kit.

Checkout out our fine Misting Spray Bottle to produce tiny droplets and keep humidity high. The size of droplets formed can easily be evaporated , this constant evaporation signals mycelium to pin.
