Will your lids fit my mason jars?
Our lids are designed to fit mason jars labeled Regular Mouth (70mm). These are standard sizes and fit popular branded jars such as Ball, Kerr and Aussie Mason.
We’ve also tested some unbranded/store-brand jars. In August 2026, this was compatible:
Masterclass (Big W) 825ml preserving jar
Other unbranded jars, or newer batches from the above, may not be the same size, and retailers can change their designs without notice. If you’re unsure, check whether your jar is labelled Regular Mouth or Wide Mouth on the retailer’s website, or order a single lid to test the fit first. That’s the best way to know they’ll work with your jars.
Our lids are not compatible with unthreaded jars, such as Fowlers Vacola.

Fits Regular mouth Jars only (70 mm), not the Wide Mouth. These lids are specially formulated to give the best airtight seal and no leakage so that the content of the jars stays contamination-free.

If used for Mycology, they are:
- Hard enough to make holes
- Good grip to open easily
- Leakproof and has an excellent seal.
