How to Use Thidiazuron (TDZ) Powder
Follow these steps to prepare tissue culture media using PCT’s TDZ Powder:
Prepare the medium: Use PCT’s MS or DKW media, or another suitable medium depending on your plant species.
Add supplements: For every 1 L of medium, add approximately 30 g of sugar, 1 mL/L PPM, and either 3–4 g/L gellan gum or 6–8 g/L agar.
Incorporate hormones: Add the required amount of TDZ and any additional plant hormones, such as those from your prepared NAA stock solution.
Sterilize: Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121 °C.
Once sterilized, your medium is ready for use.
