Description
Following extensive research and development, Rootlab has transitioned away from traditional sawdust spawn to a proprietary substrate blend. This custom formulation combines coco coir, vermiculite, straw, gypsum, manure, compost, and leaf litter, which is fully sterilised before being inoculated with wine cap spawn under sterile laboratory conditions.

These are spawn bags and not meany to fruit out of the bag.
Upon arrival, remove the bag from the box and unfold it to ensure the white filter patch is fully exposed, as this is where the mycelium breathes. Allow the bag to rest for 3โ5 days in a location away from direct sunlight and airflow.
Use our outdoor spawn for outdoor garden beds, it provides up to 1000 times more inoculation points than grain spawn, promising even and swifter colonisation in the long run. The 2kg size provides enough material to inoculate a generous garden bed, pathway, or permaculture area, is enough to cover a 1m2 area. Outdoor spawn is preferred over grain spawn for outdoor cultivation as birds and insects tend to eat the grain before they have time to colonise your garden.
